Personalize Your Survey Invitation

Setting up the invitation to your CX Surveys is as simple as selecting an invitation template and providing a logo.

Optionally, you can configure the invitation with your brand colors, or explore the other configuration options that are detailed in this article. Finally, the platform also supports creating a completely custom invitation that your technical teams can develop and integrate into the survey collection flows.

Invitation Template Configuration Options

The standard invitation can easily be configured to optimize the look and feel of your site. In addition to the logo, the text of the invitation can be adjusted. Also, all invitation colors are configurable, including the background color, border color, and text color.
Provide the Verint Support with a list of these supported configuration options and values:

Mobile Invitation Configuration Options

Logo (A, F)

  • Shape: Roughly square (recommended)
  • Minimum resolution of 200 pixels x 200 pixels

Text

  • Invitation Headline text (B): Up to 45 characters. The default wording is "We'd welcome your feedback!"
  • Invitation Main text (C): Up to 150 characters. The default wording is "Can we send you a brief survey so we can improve your experience on this website?"
  • Button text: (D & E): Up to 14 characters on mobile
  • Thank You page text:
  • Headline (G): Up to 30 characters
  • Main text (H): Up to 150 characters

Note: Character limits are for English and may be different in other languages.

Desktop Invitation (Modern style) Configuration Options

Images:

  • Invitation banner image (1):
    • Dimensions are 450 pixels x 125 pixels.
    • A solid color can also be used if desired (this works well if you choose not to use an image).
  • Client logo (2):
    • Shape: Roughly square (recommended).
    • Minimum resolution of 200 pixels x 200 pixels.
  • Tracker side image (7):
    • Dimensions are 230 pixels x 500 pixels.
    • By default, this image fades to the primary color (in the example above the image is faded to green). This effect can be turned off.
    • A solid color can also be used if desired (this works well if you choose not to use an image).

Text

  • Invitation Headline text (3): Up to 45 characters. The default wording is "We'd welcome your feedback!"
  • Invitation Main text (4): Up to 150 characters. The default wording is "Would you take a brief survey so we can improve your experience on our site?"
  • Button text: (5, 6, 10): Up to 25 characters for each button.

Tracker window text:

  • Headline (8): Up to 45 characters. The default wording is "Please keep this window open!"
  • Main text (9): Up to 150 characters. The default wording for the first phase of the tracker is, "We'll ask you some questions after you finish your visit / This window will be where your survey appears, so minimize it, or click back onto our website." The default wording for the second phase of the tracker is "If your session is complete, please click below to begin the survey / This window will be where your survey appears, so minimize it, or click back onto our website."
  • Font Support: Heading, Body, and Button elements may use the Open Google Font of choice. By default, the font is set to Lato.

Colors
For a typical configuration, you select a primary brand color. This color applies to button background color, decline text, Privacy Policy text, the tracker underline color, and the fade for the tracker side image (#7 in the example above).
By default, all text is black and button text is white.

If desired, the following colors can be overwritten:

  • Accept button background
  • Accept text color
  • Decline text color
  • Main Background color (applies to invitation and tracker)
  • Main Text color (for the invitation and tracker wording) (applies to invitation and tracker).
  • Privacy Policy text color
  • Powered by Verint text color
  • Underline color
  • Tracker image fade color (the fade effect can be turned off as well).

All hexadecimal colors are supported for the options above (e.g., #RRGGBB)

Additional Customization
Further styling can be adjusted to help make the survey and invitation experience perfect on your site. The following is a list of a few possible changes that can be made to the invitation and tracker window.

  • Change Button Border Radius (rounded or sharp corners).
  • Remove the site logo or position it within the invitation banner.
  • Change the opacity of the tracker banner overlay.
  • Change the size of the invitation.
  • Change the position of the invitation container (any corner of the screen).

    • Main text (8): Up to 500 characters.
